DIGITAL MARKETING FOR AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES – CASE STUDY
Digital Marketing for Agricultural Companies: How We Built RAGT’s Early Presence in Bulgaria?

How We Built RAGT’s Early Presence in Bulgaria Through Organic Content
Digital marketing for agricultural companies rarely begins under perfect conditions.
That was exactly the case with RAGT.
The brand was entering the Bulgarian market and needed a strong start. Its presence had to look professional from day one. At the same time, its products needed to be presented clearly to customers and business partners.
The main objective was to establish an early local presence in Bulgaria. As part of the project, we created six videos, launched a Facebook page, developed advertising visuals, and provided ongoing content support.
The main challenge was the limited availability of local brand assets.
Our focus remained on visibility, trust, and professional positioning. As a result, the page generated 48K views, reached 8.6K viewers, and attracted 485 new followers.

About the Client
RAGT is a French agricultural group founded in 1919. The company operates in more than 50 countries and specializes in seeds and genetics. For a brand of this scale, the local market presence needs to be structured properly from the beginning.
The market must quickly recognize an established international company rather than a temporary initiative. That is why early communication played an important role in RAGT’s market entry in Bulgaria.
The Challenge
The main challenge was the lack of sufficient local content assets. We did not have enough interviews, field photography, or authentic footage from Bulgaria.
This type of limitation makes content development significantly more difficult. Corporate banners can quickly begin to feel repetitive, while existing video assets can become predictable if they are reused without proper adaptation.
We therefore had to build a strong local presence with limited resources without allowing the communication to become generic or monotonous.
The Objectives
The first objective was to produce video content for early product presentations.
The second was to establish a professional Facebook presence with a clear and consistent communication rhythm.
From there, the goal was to begin building visibility and an initial local audience.
At the same time, the communication needed to remain consistent and recognizable.
Ultimately, the entire digital presence had to provide a solid foundation for the next stages of RAGT’s development in Bulgaria.
Our Approach
We approached the project as the creation of a digital foundation rather than a pure performance marketing launch. At this early stage, professional presentation and initial trust were the main priorities. The market first needed to see a stable, well-structured, and credible brand presence. Direct sales performance was not our primary short-term objective. That is why we divided the work into two clear directions. The first focused on video content for seminars and client meetings. The second focused on the Facebook page and its overall visual and communication presence.
What Did We Do?
1. We Created 6 Videos Before the Official Launch
Before the company’s official launch in Bulgaria, we produced six videos. These assets were used in product presentations, seminars, and customer meetings. This gave the videos a clear role from the earliest stage of the market entry. They were not simply polished assets created for an archive or website. Instead, they supported the real presentation of RAGT’s products to the people who needed to become familiar with them first.
This gave the content value beyond standard digital use.
2. We Created and Managed RAGT Bulgaria’s Facebook Page
Alongside the video production, we also created and managed RAGT Bulgaria’s Facebook page. We were responsible for the visual assets and the ongoing presentation of the content. The objective was not simply to publish posts. The page had to look and feel like the official communication channel of an international brand rather than a temporary local profile. That is why we focused on visual consistency and a clear tone of communication. Every post needed to strengthen the overall brand presence rather than simply fill a content calendar.

The Results
The available data shows a clear initial impact. The page generated 48K views and reached 8.6K viewers. The content produced 1.3K interactions and 3.5K visits. The page gained 485 new followers, while link clicks reached 9. These numbers need to be interpreted within the correct context. This was not a sales-focused performance campaign. The primary objectives were visibility, awareness, and the development of an initial local audience. For that reason, views, viewers, interactions, and new followers are the most relevant indicators of success. The video content also contributed important value beyond the digital channels. The videos were used during seminars and meetings even before the official launch. This gave them a role beyond brand awareness alone. They supported product presentations at an early stage and likely contributed to generating initial interest. However, this remains a reasonable interpretation rather than a directly measured sales result.
What Does This Case Study Show?
This case study highlights an important characteristic of agricultural marketing. A strong market entry does not always begin with a large library of local photos, interviews, and video content. Sometimes the first task is to build the digital foundation itself. That is exactly what we did in this project. We created early-stage content that gave the brand a recognizable local identity. At the same time, we established its first structured digital presence in Bulgaria. Projects like this may appear quieter on the surface, but they often play a crucial role in creating the foundation for future growth.
